The Infinite F500 filter-based microplate reader is capable of reading 6 to 384-well plates, including standard, half-area and low volume 384-well plates. All top-reading modes can be used for 1536-well microplates (optional) and, by selecting the high speed »on-the-fly« mode, a 1536-well plate can be read in less than 30 seconds (please refer to typical performance values). The Infinite F500 can also be easily integrated into the Freedom EVO® series of automated platforms. |

The optimal filter based microplate reader for biopharmaceutical, life science and research laboratories
The fast and sensitive Infinite F500 filter-based microplate reader is ideal for a broad range of applications, in particular ratiometric assays and other technologies routinely used within assay development, screening and ADMET laboratories, research institutes and the Life Sciences industry. It is capable of reading 6 to 1536-well microplates, including standard and low-volume plates.
The Infinite F500 microplate reader supports many different applications and assay technologies, such as:
- TR-FRET-based assays: e.g. HTRF® (Cisbio bioassays, France), LanthaScreen® (Invitrogen).
- FRET-based assays: e.g. Z`-LYTE® (Invitrogen) to study cellular protein kinases, GeneBLAzer® (Invitrogen) Reporter Gene assays.
- Glow luminescence: cell-based & reporter gene assays
- Flash luminescence: e.g. dual luciferase assay (DLR®) and various CA2+ detection assays if optional injectors are installed
- Fluorescence polarization: e.g. Predictor™ hERG Fluorescence Polarization Assay (Invitrogen), PolarScreen™ Glucocorticoid Receptor Competitor Assay Kit, Red (Invitrogen), PolarScreen™ Glucocorticoid Receptor Competitor Assay Kit, Green (Invitrogen), Transcreener® ADP Assay (BellBrook Labs)
